I’ve had this heart-rate band for a couple years as a backup to my primary Wahoo TICKR Fit. I train on my bike 6-7 days a week and carry this a back up. I’m very aware of my heart rate and I can tell you this is accurate and is just as dependable as the Wahoo TICKR Fit. This device will even vibrate as my heart rate exceeds my threshold rate to let me know I’m at my VO2 max. I know others have said that their heart-rate band wasn’t displaying the correct value or was broken after 3 months. While I don’t know about their specific situations or use cases, I can tell you the one I purchased is dependable and accurate. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or purchase another one if needed.
Heart rate monitor armband just stop working after three months. Will not charge up, can find no where to get a trouble shooting manual or any customer service help. Look elsewhere do not buy.
I have been training with heart rate for over 20 years. I use a Garmin Edge 1000 and my smartphone. The transmitted data are completely unreliable and are displayed identically and incorrectly by my devices.
I have a HRmax of 172 bpm. With the transmitter, for example, my Garmin shows 165 HR, while I'm having a conversation at around 120 HR. At night my smartphone shows me a resting heart rate of 40 HF. In reality, my resting heart rate is 55 HF.
Heart rate training or documentation of HR values is excluded. That's why it's a pointless device that you shouldn't buy.
The unreliable and complicated customer service confirms that the data transmission is not correct and that a delay of 8 to 0 seconds must be expected.
Very inaccurate, can be up to 40bpm out at times. Would NOT recommend
